| Share-UPS™ works closely with PowerChuteŽ plus UPS management
software to ensure that all of your systems are shut down safely in the event of an
extended power outage and facilitates the implementation of multi-server management by one
UPS. Share-UPS let you connect up to 8 completely OS-independent servers (15 servers with
2 Share-UPS) to a single UPS. When power fails, Share-UPS notifies the user via APC
software or cable kits of power problems and signals each server to initiate graceful
shutdown. Share-UPS can put the UPS into battery conservation mode, and manages re-boot
when power returns. Share-UPS lets you use one server to manage the power environment for
up to 15 mixed OS servers. |
